Rose Hill Cemetery


Mrs. Howard G. (Irene I.) McCullough, 61, 129 W. Mulberry, died late Thursday in a local hospital after an illness of several months.

Her funeral service will be at 2:30 PM Sunday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with John A. Britton, pastor of the Cleveland Road Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Carrier.

Mrs. McCullough was born August 31, 1912, in Carrier and graduated from high school there. She lived in the Carrier area until moving to Enid in 1957.

She and Howard McCullough were married September 2, 1965, in the Carrier Congregational Church. Mrs. McCullough was supervisor of the Gold Spot Fountain for several years and attended the Cleveland Road Baptist Church.

Four brothers and a sister predeceased her. Survivors include her husband of the home; five sons, Wendell Watts of Tulsa, Daniel Watts, Wichita, Kansas, Michael Watts, Enid, Richard Watts and Keith Watts, both of Norman; two step – daughters, Mrs. R. S. (Edra) Reed of Lawton and Mrs. Dale (Lana Kay) Hartzog, Lawton; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Russell (Esther) Nay and Mrs. Nell Reinhart of Enid, Mrs. Ruth Stabe, Lahoma, Mrs. J. C. (Grace) Barnes, Westfir, Oregon, Mrs. Leo (Edna) Porter of Ponca City and a brother, Allen Rork of Carmen.
