Rose Hill Cemetery


A Celebration of Life for Esther Opal Nay, age 98, of Enid, will be 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Jim and Gail Edmison officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Carrier, Okla. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Esther was born Nov. 29, 1915, in Carrier, Okla., the daughter of Bert Rork and Effie (Loper) Rork. She attended school in Carrier, graduating in 1933. She married Russell Nay in 1935. They had three children, Beverley, Gaylord and Everett. She was a member of Oakwood Christian Church, Enid.

She is preceded in death by husband, Russell Nay; their children, Beverley, Gaylord, and Everett; as well as five brothers and five sisters. Survivors include a sister, Ruth Stabe, of Lahoma; grandson, Kyle Nay and Patrice, of Tulsa, Okla., granddaughter, Julie Gordon and husband, Chris, of Yukon, Okla.; four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nathan, Keaton, Kiersten, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or The American Heart Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodians of the funds. Online condolences may be left at www.ladusau evans.com.
