Rose Hill Cemetery


Julia Perry Howe, 89, died Thursday evening following an illness of several months.

Born in Bristow, Iowa, she moved to the Carrier community in 1901, making her home in Carrier for many years before moving to California for 10 years. She returned to Enid 16 years ago and has made her home here since.

She was a member of St. Mathews Episcopal Church and Service Chapter, and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include one son, Glen Perry, North Long Beach, California; three grandchildren, including Mrs. Ross (Barbara) Bergdall, Lahoma; nine great – grandchildren and one great – great – grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 AM in the Henninger – Allen Chapel, with Rev. Barney Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Carrier, under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
