Hazel DROAK BICKFORD

The funeral for Hazel Marie (Droke) Bickford, 103, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alan Seibel will officiate. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Carrier.

She was born Feb. 17, 1901, on a farm southwest of Carrier to Mr. and Mrs. David A. Droke, and died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at The Living Center.
She attended grade school at Hillside Country School and high school at Carrier.
She married Charles Henry Bickford June 10, 1919. They made their home on a farm four miles north of Carrier. They had two children.

She united with Carrier Congregational Church in 1915, where she served as secretary of her Sunday school class, secretary/treasurer of the Sunday school, secretary of Women's Fellowship, and president and secretary of Home Improvement club for 13 years. She served McKinley Township as Red Cross Chairman for six years.
She moved to Enid after her husband died.

Surviving are one daughter, Charlene Young of Enid; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren
