Charles Henry BICKFORD

CARRIER --- Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 11, 1964 in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Enid for Henry Bickford, 65, who died in an Enid hospital Monday afternoon. He was a prominent farmer and a long-time resident of the Carrier community.

Rev. Stanley Jenkins officiated and buriel was in the Carrier Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born at Canton, Ill., Bickford came to Oklahoma in 1899 with his parents and first settled near Carrier. Later he lived for a time at Lahoma and Nash. He had lived at Carrier the last 33 years. He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the Carrier Congregational church and the American Legion at Goltry.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel, of the home, a daughter Mrs. Dennis (Charlene) Young of Enid, a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Anderson of Vallejo, Calif., four brothers, James of Vallejo, Frank of Redding, Calif., and Eugene and Burnett of Napa, Calif.; four grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
