Paradise Cemetery


Funeral services for Jonah Taylor Davidson, 61-year-old Breckinridge resident, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Willow Road Christian Church. Pastor Carrell Still will officiate. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery, Breckinridge, under the direction of Henninger-Hin-son Funeral Home. Jonah was born April 27, 1950, in Enid to Donald D. and Olive J. (Nickel) Davidson and died suddenly Wednesday, June 29, 2011. He attended local schools. He attended Vo-Tech and Tulsa School of Welding.

On November 1, 1969, Jonah married Paula Stone in Enid, and the couple made their home in Breckinridge. He began working for Failing's and then M&O Welding. He owned and operated Jonah Welding for nine years. He then began working with Rite-Way Construction and had been employed with them for the last 23 years. Jonah was a lifetime member of Willow Road Christian Church where he helped run the sound system for many years. He liked to bicycle, vacation in Colorado, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to make them pancakes.

Jonah is survived by his wife, Paula of the home; son, Jonah Davidson and wife, Brandi, of Breckinridge; daughter, Jana Fee and husband, Terry, of Enid; six grandchildren, Anthony "Eddie" Fee, Zachariah Joe Fee, Hunter Taylor Davidson, Yana Rebecca Fee, Ruben Lee Fee, Christeena Pelletier; and one great-grandson, Ashton Anthony Fee. Also, sister Nancy Lambert of Cherokee; brother John C. Davidson of Enid; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Lowell Hale; and sister, Laura Alice Melvin.
