Bonnie Jean Johnson
September 7, 1926 - January 24, 2023

A Celebration of Life Service for Bonnie Jean Johnson, 96 of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark McAdow officiating. Family burial will be at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Bonnie was born September 7, 1926, on a farm east of Enid to Everett and Mable (Randolph) Hays, and passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in Enid.

She graduated from Garber High School and later attended Chickasha Women's College.

She married Freddie H. Johnson on May 1, 1946, in Enid. She was a housewife and helped with the family farming operation.

Bonnie enjoyed OU Football, Lawrence Welk, bingo, playing the slots and being a member of the Red Hat Ladies Group. She was also a member of Willow View Church.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Freddie, daughter Carol Ann Lairson and son James Lynn Johnson. She is survived by her son Freddie Johnson and his wife Sheila of Earth, Texas, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and a sister Evelyn Cassody.

Memorials may be made through the Anderson-Burris to Hospice Circle of Love.
