Wednesday, April 15th, 1942 - Monday, September 25th, 2023

Funeral services for Carroll Wayne Holman will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Carroll was born April 15, 1942 in Geary, Oklahoma to Charley and Vinita (Jump) Holman and passed away September 25, 2023. He grew up in Geary and graduated from Geary High School in 1960. He served in the United States Army from 1964 till 1966 as an MP.

He married Betty Stutzman on November 6, 1966. They lived in Ulysses, Kansas for 2 years before returning to Geary in 1968. They owned and operated Southside Station from 1972-2004. He was an avid coon hunter for many years. Carroll also enjoyed farming, and ranching. He and Betty retired and moved to Garber in 2015. He loved sitting on his patio with his dog Murphy.

Carroll is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Betty Jean Holman; parents; and a sister, Wanda .

Carroll is survived by a daughter, , Tammy O'Kelley and her husband Trey, of Geary; Brian Slade Holman and his wife Emma, of Garber; grandchildren, Sam Ridenhour and wife Makenzie, Cope O'Kelley, Brian Holman, Jr. and his wife Jessica W., Jessica Ashley Holman, Harley Holman; great grandchild, Miley Ridenhour.
