Glynn Young
May 19, 1939 - May 12, 2012

Funeral services for Glynn Clark Young,72,Enid, will be Wednesday ,May 16,2012 at 2:00pm in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Dittman officiating. A private family graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Glynn was born May 19, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas to Alphon Maurice and Martha Ross Kendall Clark. She passed away peacefully on May 12,2012.

She was raised in Lubbock ,Texas and attended Lubbock schools. In 1955, she met Bobby H. Young and they were married January 20, 1956 in Quanah, Texas. For the past 35 years, they have made Enid their home.

Glynn was very active with the Enid Elks. In addition to her role as Chaplin, she helped with the many Elk's fundraisers and events to help children and families that are less fortunate.

Glynn loved gardening, golfing, and family gatherings.

Glynn is survived by her husband Bobby, her children Clark and wife Beth, Michael and wife Nancy, Phillip and wife Jana, Laura and husband Kelly, brother Wray and wife Helen, 12 grandkids, 6 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.

Glynn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Gail. In lieu of flowers.

Memorials may be made to the Enid Elks Children's Christmas fund with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home coordinating.
