The funeral service for Betty Louise Yeatman will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church with the Reverend Terry Chick officiating. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Betty went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, July 7, 2016. She was born October 23, 1943 in Fairview to Joe and Virginia (Herman) Howerton.

Betty was raised in Fairview and Enid area and attended Fairview and Enid schools, graduating from Enid High in 1961. In 1969 she began working as a caregiver at Enid State School and did so until her retirement in 1999. Betty came to Bible Baptist Church in 1966, where she was saved and Baptized. She served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher in the Cradle Roll Department for 40 years. She also sang in the church choir, and was very active in all the programs of the church. She treasured her Sunday School children and visited them faithfully.

Betty loved her son Chris. They have had many good times together. They spent many evenings at local restaurants, knowing they always had each other to lean on. She loved her cats and enjoyed sitting on her porch watching them play. She was a big sports fan especially when it came to the Oklahoma sooners and Thunder.

Betty is survived by her son, Chris Yeatman of Enid; aunts, Sally Boehs and Doris Howerton both of Fairview; cousins, Grace Vicker of KS, Sharon Shrader, Kathy Robinson, Marilyn Water and Judy Laubak all of Okeene.

Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church Mission Program or the American Cancer Society with the Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
