Viola “Vi” Mae Toney, 66, was born July 16, 1948, in Homestead, Okla., to Clarence and Iona McFarland Snow and passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at home surrounded by her family.

She attended Enid schools, graduating in 1966. In 1970, she started her career in the oil business, working for Jim Gungoll and retired in 2014, due to her health.

Vi was a member of the Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge. She attended Enid First Assembly of God Church.

Vi is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Travis Johnson of the home; son, Troy Schaefer of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Chasity McFadden of Enid, Ashlyn Geen and Mason Harmon, both of the home; one great-grandson, Kingston McFadden of Enid; two stepgrandchildren, Colton and Hayden Johnson of Enid; one sister-in-law, Sue Ward of Aline; numerous nieces and nephews; stepson and wife, Mike and Pam Kvasnicka; stepgrandchildren, Sam, Bryce, Tabor, Hannah and Greydon Kvasnicka; and her very special girlfriends, Vivian Atchinson, Milly Jones, Linda Maupin and Linda Willis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Darrel and Dennis Snow; sister-in-law, Carol Snow; and stepson, Kevin Kvasnicka.

Family and friends were Vi’s passion and delight. Her favorite thing was being called “Nana”; her grandbabies were her world. She will be dearly missed by so many. Special thanks for her team of doctors, Dr. Matousek, Dr. Dexeus and his nurses, Dr. Vijay for the exceptional care and love they have given Vi and Kim during this past year. Her inspiration and courage she had during her battle with cancer will be remembered forever.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Enid First Assembly of God Church, 905 N. Oakwood. Pastor Jarrod Cloud and the Rev. Gary Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Relay for Life or Hospice Circle of Love, with the funeral home serving custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made and the service viewed at www.ladusauevans.com.
