Rena Jean Terrel, 47, 1813 E. Walnut, died early Sunday in a local hospital following a period of ill health. Her services will be Wednesday at 2 PM in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Horner officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Terrel was born June 10, 1928, at Fairview. She attended schools there, coming to Enid after graduating from Fairview high school. She had made her home in Enid most of her life except for a short period she lived in California. On July 31, 1960, she married Fred Terrel in Enid. She was employed for several years by the Safeway Stores and later employed by Advance Meat Market. She was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Fred, of the home; her mother, Mrs. Rena A. Wheeler, Fairview, one daughter, Mrs. Carmen McKeel Stephens, Enid; one son, Roy McKee, Enid; one grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Leota Wilmott, and Mrs. Georgia Clements, both of California, and Mrs. Elsie John, Enid; one brother, Arthur Gertz, Fairview, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.

Contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Cancer Fund with the funeral home acting as custodian.
