June 11, 1950 - December 10, 2022

Funeral services for Everett Earl Thompson, Jr, 72, Enid, will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 15, 2022 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Army.

He was born on June 11, 1950 in El Reno, Oklahoma, the son of Everett, Sr. and Ruth Louise Sneiff Thompson, and passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022 at his residence.

Everett married Judy Sharon Punneo in Enid. Everett served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War as a member of the 10st Airborne. He was honorably discharged on May 18, 1978 with rank of E-5 and a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He worked as a heat and air manager. Everett was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association and American Legion and a proud member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribe.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of the residence; his daughter Kelly Peterson, son Bryan Thompson, and grandchildren Brynn and Blake Peterson.

The family has selected St. Jude's Hospital as appropriate for memorial donations. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stitttsworthfuneralservices.com.
