February 28, 1932 - March 12, 2019

Graveside services for Glen Noble Swanson, age 87, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Garden Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Matt Miles will officiate with the United States Army providing Military Honors. Visitation will be Sunday, March 17th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Glen was born February 28, 1932 in Carrier, Oklahoma to Roland and Pearl (Kelly) Swanson, and passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in Enid.

Glen was raised in the Carrier community where he attended school. He entered the U.S. Army on October 8, 1952 and was honorably discharged on July 24, 1954. After his military duty, he went to work for Billings Electric, later working for Douchkoff Sheet Metal and Kemph-Munsinger. He owned and operated Western Sheet Metal from 1961 until he retired in 1997.

Glen was an avid hunter and fisherman and a lifetime member of VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Tommye; four daughters, Diana Hahl, of Enid; Cindy Swanson, of Mt. Vernon, WA; Kim (Ken) Robertson of Dunbarton, NH; and Stacey (Mark) Brewer of Roanoke, TX; 13 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; sister, Ellen Willson (Tom) of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Pearl Swanson; sister Dorothy, and brother Johnny.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
