Ladonna Brewer Stebbins

DENISON, TX — Ladonna Brewer Stebbins, 65, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Stebbins was born July 5, 1945, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wayne and Thelma (Snyder) Brewer.

Ladonna married the love of her life, Lloyd Stebbins, on August 2, 1963. She taught school at Geary for nine years, Herford for four years and Mayes Elementary in Denison for 12 years before retiring. She loved going to the lake and hummingbirds.

LaDonna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Stebbins is survived by her loving family, husband Lloyd Stebbins of Denison, Texas; son Greg Stebbins and wife Diane of Round Rock, Texas; daughter Amy Phillips and husband Bryan of Long Branch, Texas; grandchildren, Robert Stebbins and wife Nicole of AFB in Japan, Hope Stebbins of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Seth Wilson, Logan Wilson and Dillon Wilson, all of Round Rock, Texas; great-granddaughter, Lilli Stebbins; and sister, Marilyn Mount and husband Lawrence of Amarillo, Texas.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Thelma Brewer, and brother, Dr. Leon Brewer.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011, in Memorial Garden Cemetery, Enid, Oklahoma. Rev. Gary Siebert will officiate. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to National Kidney Foundation, 5429 Lyndon B. Johnson Fwy, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75240-2617.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
