Gladys Marie Crusinbery Long Snyder

Gladys Marie (Crusinbery) Snyder, daughter of Williams (Bill) Cary and Cora Rose (Corbin) Crusinbery, was born on September 10, 1930 near Galena, OK. She departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, OK, at the age of 89.

Gladys attended Twin Oaks Grade School for 8 years and Waynoka High School for 2 years. She married Edward Long on December 29, 1946, to which 4 children were born. They were divorced in 1965. On June 14, 1979, Gladys married Cecil B. Snyder, Jr., until his death on April 5, 2004.

Not only was Gladys a homemaker, she also spent over 30 years as a book keeper for various car dealers and businesses. She was active in the Enid Tops Club for many years and held the offices of Secretary, Co-President, and President. Gladys loved to travel, spend time with family and friends, gardening, and working puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Cecil B. Snyder, Jr., daughter Edna Marie Womack, brother Glen Crusinbery, sisters Marjorie Hadley and Mildred Benson, grandson Donald Ray Lee, and step-grandson William Dewayne Lawson.

She is survived by three children: sons, William (Bill) Long and wife Ethel of Grove, OK, Ron E. Long and wife Patty of Stafford, MO; daughter, Rose Ann Wigley and husband Mike of Yukon, OK; son-in-law, William (Bill) Womack of Miami, OK; step-daughters, Debbie Meyer and husband David of Waukomis, OK, Jodie Langwell and husband Darrell of Ada, OK, Sonya Scott of Waukomis, OK; step-Son, Kevin Snyder and wife Emily of Douglas, OK; and sisters, Clara M. Boren of Booker, TX, Dorothy Ashton of Aline, OK, and Oleta Rodgers of Northglenn, CO. Gladys is also survived by a beautiful legacy of 8 Grandchildren, 16 Step-Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 15 Step-Great Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services for Gladys will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home in Enid, OK with Reverend Tom Stanley presiding.

Memorial donations in Gladys' name may be made out to Hospice Circle of Love, or the Oklahoma Medical Research - Cancer Division and mailed to Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home (P.O. Box 507, Enid, OK 73702).
