ENID, Okla. — Celebration of Life service for Clifford E. Skaggs, 67, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with the Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Clifford was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Pasadena, Texas, to Gilbert and Anna May White Skaggs and passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

Clifford grew up in Enid, where he attended school.

He entered the U.S. Army on Feb. 3, 1965, and was discharged in 1969. He re-entered the Army in 1971, serving until 1974. In 1976, he joined the Army National Guard and retired in 1996.

Clifford married Charolette Weber on March 22, 1969, in Enid.

He worked for Auto Zone, Western Auto and in the oil field. He later went to work for Advance Food as a mechanic. He was a Mason.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Charolette of the home; son, Danny Skaggs of Edmond; three daughters, Angela Skaggs, Anna Stubbs and Kristin Skaggs, all of Enid; four grandsons, three granddaughters, two great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Phillip and Michael; one grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
