Graveside services for Jean Shockley, 95, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Dwayne Schroeder, officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Jean was born on October 6, 1925 in Lincoln Park, Michigan, the daughter of Gottlieb Schwartz and Amelia Schwartz, and passed away peacefully on October 3, 2021 in Enid. She moved to Enid at the age of 14 and attended the Enid School System. Jean graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1944. She worked for Vance Air Force Base prior to working for Champlin Oil.

Jean married Jack Shockley, retiring to Homemaker. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jack of the residence; four daughters, Linda Hyde of Conroe, Texas, Debra Luciani of Denver, Colorado, Kathryn Shockley of Dallas, Texas, and Jackie Broaddus of Arkansas; son Kim Shockley of Enid; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Robert Schwartz of Lillian, Alabama; sister, Natalie Frost of Waukomis, Oklahoma.

Jean was preceded in passing by her parents and brother, Harry.

Memorials may be made in Jean’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
