Funeral services for Elmer E. Shaw 76 of Enid, will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Bland officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, Oklahoma under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Elmer was born on August 30, 1928 in Kearney, Nebraska to Charles and Edna Mary Brisbon and was raised by John and Mary Edna Shaw. He died Sunday evening March 20, 2005 at the Enid Senior Care. He attended various schools growing up. He was married on April 2, 1961 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Bobetta “Bobbie” Phye. He worked for the city of Enid as a truck driver and later in his life as the Supervisor of the Street Division. He is survived by his wife Bobbie of the home, seven children Evelyn Sue Jones, Kathy Willis, Karen Sanders, Kelly Gonzalez, Lodea Lockhart, Martin Shaw, and Adeanna and Kenny Marshall. 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, a sister Phylura Lyons of Clinton, MO, one mother-in-law Crystal Phye, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sons and three grandsons. Memorials can be made in Elmer’s name to the Enid Senior Care with the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. (Paid Obit 3-24-1)

Bobetta Marie Phye Shaw

October 10, 1937 - October 12, 2020

Funeral services for Bobetta Shaw, of Enid, will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Bobetta was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Mooreland, Okla., to Robert and Crystal Phye and passed away Oct. 12, 2020. She graduated from Mooreland High School in 1956. She moved to Enid and met and wed the love of her life, Elmer Shaw. Bobetta worked a nurse's aide for many of the medical facilities throughout the area.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Gonzalez; son, Martin Shaw; stepdaughters, Sue Jones and Karen Sanders; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Sueanna Burns; brother, Robert Phye and his wife, Barbara; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.

Bobetta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer Shaw; daughter, Lodea Lockhart; brother, William Phye; brother-in-law, Tom Jones; three granddaughters; two grandsons.
