Gone but never forgotten

EHS Class of 1971


Funeral service for Larry Selix, 61, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. A private family burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Larry was born to Vincent “Stanley” and Laverna (Cunningham) Selix on March 13, 1953, in Enid, Okla., and passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, in Enid.

Larry attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School until sixth grade and then went to North Enid and graduated from Enid High School.

He worked at TG&Y until they closed and then worked at Dollar General and Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

Larry grew up attending St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed crocheting and participating at the Enid Farmers Market.

Larry is survived by his mother, Laverna Selix of Enid; two brothers, Mark Selix and wife Lisa of Enid, and Glen Selix of Garber; one sister, Brenda Schultz and husband Brent of Enid; two nieces; three nephews; one great-niece; and three great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Selix.

Memorials may be made to OMRF, heart division.
