The services celebrating the life of Carrie D. Schaffler, 49, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 24, 2018 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brad Mendenhall officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born February 13, 1969 to Ronald and Linda Schaffler in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life May 16, 2018 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High School in 1987. She worked for the Juvenile Detention Center for twelve years, she then worked for a brief time at Integris Bass Hospital and worked at Evergreen nursing home for several years until she was medically unable. She loved all animals especially her dogs.

She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Linda Schaffler, of Enid; one son Devin Schaffler, of Enid; four grandchildren, Ayden Schaffler, Alyke Schaffler, Brayden Schaffler, and Daylen Schaffler, all of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe Hightower and Mary Smith and paternal grandparents, Vernon and Ruth Schaffler.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Enid SPCA with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
