ENID, OK — Funeral service for David W. Sayers, 53, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at Garland Road Baptist Church, with Dr. Greg Hook officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

David was born April 28, 1961, at Langley AFB, Virginia, to Charles D. and Susan Kalso Sayers and passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at his home.

David graduated from Enid State School. David enjoyed going to work at 4RKids, where he was a shredder. He attended Garland Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing baseball in the Miracle League, collecting DVDs, and watching for the mailman.

David is survived by his mother, Sue Clampitt and husband Bert of Enid; sister, Lori Smetana of Spokane, Wash.; brother, Todd Sayers of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father, Charles Douglas Sayers, and grandparents Orvin and Ruby Kalso.

Memorials may be made to 4RKids or Garland Road Baptist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
