A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Lila Mae Sanders, 87, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church, Enid, with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Lila passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, in Enid. She was born May 4, 1927, in Drummond, Okla., to parents, Simon Johnson and Edna (Herber) Johnson.

She married Charles Sanders on May 18, 1945.

Lila was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years.

Lila is survived by a daughter, Shirley Hole and husband Bill of Enid; two brothers, Kenneth Johnson and wife Ethel of Garden City, Kan., and Raymond Johnson and wife Beth of Wasilla, Alaska; two sisters, Glenna Davis of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Agatha Bowen and husband J.L. of Hillsdale, Okla.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sanders; son, Gerold Sanders; parents, Simon and Edna Johnson; and two brothers, Leroy and Robert Johnson.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice Circle of Love, with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made and the service viewed at www.ladusauevans.com for those unable to attend the service.
