Floyd H. Stout
January 19, 1939 - January 18, 2022

A Celebration of Life service for Floyd Stout, age 82, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel, with Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Floyd was born January 19, 1939, in Cherokee, OK, to Hollis and Opal (Stout) Stout and passed away January 18, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital. He grew up in Cherokee and graduated from Cherokee High School and from Northwestern University with a degree in education. He taught 5th and 6th grades at Cherokee Public Schools, retiring after 30 years. He also coached basketball. Floyd enjoyed his farming. He entered the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged.

He married Lynda Metcalf in 1958 and later married Patricia Stone-Fuxa on May 22, 1999 in Enid, and she passed away November 28, 2021. They lived in Cherokee and moved to Enid in 2006.

He is survived by his daughter Melanie Stout from Alva; son Gregg and Lisa Stout Jacksonville, NC; stepdaughter, Jane and Randy Johnson; stepsons, Bryan and Rhonda Fuxa, Bradley and Kristy Fuxa, and Barry and Robin Fuxa; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joan Stout; and several other family members.
