Vernon L. Ruzek, 26, died Thursday, 14 October 1976, in a local hospital following a short illness.

Wake Bible services will be at 8 PM today in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 2 PM Saturday in the St. Francis Xavier Church, with the Rev. Larry Kowalski officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.

Vernon was born August 20, 1950, and graduated from Enid high school in 1970. He won a number of prizes in the county fair for his handiwork.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.

Survivors include his parents Frank and Theresa Ruzek, a brother James F., all of the home, and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins.
