March 23, 1957 - January 20, 2019

A Celebration of Life for Janet Rodgers, 61, of Enid will be 2:00 p.m. Friday January 25, 2019, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Janet June (Timm) Rodgers was born on March 23, 1957, to Clarence and Lorene Timm and passed away on January 20, 2019. She attended Pond Creek-Hunter High School. On October 26, 1998, she married the love of her life, Buddy Rodgers. She was a proud mother to her four children Shawnya, Dusty, Kasey, and Taylor. Janet was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. She loved fishing, anything automotive and watching football. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening, motorcycle rides and driving her Camaro. She was head of housekeeping and laundry at Golden Oaks for many years. She is remembered for her unique personality and ability to make other people laugh. She was a tough, strong-willed, and hardworking lady.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lorene Timm, and her nephew, Eddie (Edmo) Moore.

She is survived by her husband Buddy Rodgers of the home in Enid; four children, Shawnya Driskell and husband James, Dusty Boone, Kasey Schmig and husband Josh, and Taylor Lewis. She will be missed by ten grandchildren: Kristen, Jaylen, Sierra, Kylie, Reign, Maddox, Jaxtyn, Casin, Jasey, and Greyson, as well as two great-grandchildren, Jase and Xander. She is also survived by her brother, Tim Moore and wife Helen; two sisters, Claudia Goss and Colleen Dupus and her husband Cliff; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
