The funeral service for Dr. Earl M. Robinson, 90, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at First United Methodist Church. Rev. David Wiggs will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. He was born May 18, 1918, in Guernsey County, Ohio, to Ted and Edith Moore Robinson and died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in California.

He attended school in Old Washington, Ohio. He attended OU Medical School, graduating in 1943. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served with the Operational Forces in Germany. He started his medical training in Oklahoma City and met the love of his life, Wanda "Cassie" Castleberry. They were married June 14, 1948, in Oklahoma City. He did some of his training at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. On July 1, 1951, he moved to Enid and started his practice. He was Chief of Staff at both hospitals. He was a physician and a surgeon. He retired in 1982. He and Cassie spent a lot of time going on cruises and square dancing, and started traveling, but really enjoyed traveling to California to be near their family. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Ted, and two granddaughters, Rachel and Monique of Carlsbad, California. He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter, Toni.
