Funeral service celebrating the life of David Reim, 81, of Enid, is 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation is 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at the funeral home.

David was born on August 22, 1936, east of Hillsdale to Henry and Violet (Rogers) Reim, and passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Oklahoma City, with his family by his side. David attended Carrier High School. On December 17, 1955, he married Barbara Hock, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and they made their home in Enid. David worked for Carl Watts as a contractor for 21 years before starting his own company, David Reim & Sons Commercial Builders, for over 33 years. He was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran church for over 60 years.

David is survived by his wife Barbara; children, David Kent Reim (Glenda) Enid, and Debbie Martin (Harold) Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Brandon Hardage (Katie) Enid, Melissa Mullennix (Nick) Florida, David Jason Reim Enid, Ashlee Ellison Edmond, and Nicole Trentch Enid; eight great-grandchildren, Zak, Tabor, Hayden, Emilee, Sara, Khloe, Brock, and Presley; one brother Dale Reim and wife Evie of Enid; and one sister Zelta Goldsberry of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Kenneth, Clarence and Roger; son-in-law Bill Hardage Jr. and a great-grandson David Mason Reim.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF-Cancer.
