May 3, 1958 - January 31, 2023

The funeral for Evelyn Renee Ramsey, 64 year-old Enid resident, is 11:00AM Monday, February 6, 2023 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gail Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Evelyn was born May 3, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio to Earl and Clara (Wells) Kronenbitter and died Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Golden Oaks after a brief illness. She attended Drummond schools and graduated with the class of 1976.

On May 3, 1976, she married Calvin Ramsey, Jr. in Enid. The couple made their first home in Krebs, Oklahoma and later in Odessa, Texas, before settling in Enid in 1983. Evelyn worked as a waitress at Howard Johnson's and Holiday Inn. She later worked with Advance Foods and for twenty years as a bartender at Scooter's. She also worked at the Corner Store in Lahoma.

She loved quilting and crochet. She also enjoyed bowling and bowled in a league for years.

She is survived by her children, Leeann Fritz (Jason) of Enid; Patricia Poslick and husband, Jarred of Drummond; Leonard and wife, Stephanie of Enid; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; twin sister; older brother as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin; sister, Ericka Heartwig and both sets of grandparents.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home to OMRF (Gioblastoma Division).
