A graveside service for Charles Price, 86, of Enid, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Wade Burleson will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

He was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Newart, Ohio, to Charles M. and Clara Hupp Price and died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Enid.

He married Pauline M. Woolery in 1947 in Granville, Ohio. He worked for a funeral home before moving to Enid. He worked as an electrican technician for G.E. Failing Co. in Enid for a number of years. He served as mess staff sergeant in the Army from 1938 until 1944. He was stationed in Germany for some time and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a charter member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Enid.

Surviving are one stepson, Jerry K. Phelps of Tucson, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline K. Price in 2001.
