A Celebration of Life Service for Tommy Dean Powell, 68, Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Reber and the Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating.

Burial follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Tommy was born November 12, 1949, in Enid, to Glen O. and Emma Jean Anderson Powell, and passed away at his home, Wednesday, September 05, 2018.

He was raised in Enid where he attended school and graduated. Tommy married Donna Breitenkamp on June 26, 1969, in Enid.

Tommy owned and operated his own welding company. He was very creative and enjoyed making metal art and items for friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Donna of the home, two sons; Kelly Powell of Enid, Wesley Powell and wife Anna of Mustang; three grandchildren, Brylea, Karlea, and Edison; brother Jimmy (Susan) Powell; sisters, Glenda Creason, Doris Dunn, Barbara (David) Jones, Patsy Dowers, and Kathy (Arnold) Yosten, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sharon Postier and Gary Brietenkamp; Sarah Powell and several other family members.

Tommy was a wonderful husband, father, papa, brother, and friend who loved his family more than anything. He was the first person to come and help anyone who needed him. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and going to the lake. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
