Funeral service for Amanda Lee Pickens-Crawford, 77 of Enid, will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2012, at First Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with the arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Amanda Lee Crawford was born May 10, 1935, to Everett Pickens and Jeannie Shannon in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

She attended public school in Ardmore and Enid. Amanda accepted Christ at an early age, and united with The First Missionary Baptist Church.

She met and married Bobby Crawford. Amanda worked at St. Mary’s Hospital for a number of years. She loved cooking and needlepoint. Amanda also loved to read and write poetry, and helping others.

She leaves to mourn her home going two sons, William Pickens and Shawn Crawford of Enid; two daughters Tina Crawford of Enid, and Sharon Crawford of Owasso; two sisters Juanita West and Betty Spencer of Enid; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Amanda was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, three brothers, and one sister.
