The funeral service for Eileen Page, 89, Enid, formerly of Pond Creek, is 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at the United Methodist Church in Pond Creek, with the Rev. Coy Remer officiating. Interment follows in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Eileen was born to Abraham Lincoln and Addie Gertrude Ricks McClaflin on August 10, 1926, in Stockville, Neb. She died in Enid, at her home, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Eileen graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1946. She married Thomas E. Page Oct. 21, 1946, in Wellington, Kan.

They finished school at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. They moved to Ringwood in 1950.

Ed and Eileen later moved to Hardesty in 1959. In 1969, they moved back to Pond Creek. She was the school secretary from 1966 to 1982. She owned and operated the Eileen Café from 1982 to 1992.

Eileen enjoyed retirement and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women in Pond Creek.

She loved gardening and working in her flowerbed.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ed, in 2007; and two brothers and four sisters.

Eileen is survived by three sons, Tom and wife, Mischel, Perryton, Texas; Jim and wife, Jan, Waggoner; Bobby and wife, Tammy, Purcell; two sisters, Leta Lawson, Enid; LaVonne Nelson, Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church or United Methodist Women.
