May 27, 1949 - October 12, 2022

A Celebration of Life service for Carolyn Louise Poplin, 73 of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Carolyn was born May 27, 1949 in Stillwater, OK to Ivan and Marian Kerss Poplin and passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Enid. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

She moved to Enid when she was three years old. She attended Enid Schools and graduated from Carrier High School. She graduated from Phillips University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Carolyn went to work for Serv-Air at Vance Air Force Base as a clerical worker and continued working there for 39 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital and also volunteered as a polling place judge with the Garfield County Election Board for many years.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Jacquelyn Sue Poplin.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to SPCA.
