April 23, 1928 - December 27, 2021

The funeral services honoring and celebrating the life of Hazel Pike, 93, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 30, 2021, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Williams officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Hazel was born April 23, 1928, to Benjamin and Bobby Drinen Miller in Las Animas, Colorado, and passed from this life December 27, 2021, in Enid.

She was raised and educated in Colorado. She married Jacob Pike in April 1,1943 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The family moved various places following her husband’s military career with the United States Army. While living in Highland, California she worked at Batesline Laundry. In 1973 the family settled in Enid, Oklahoma. She worked at Clean Clothes Rental for twelve years until her she retired to care for her husband. She was a gifted quilter, was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she was active in the Women's Club and had a big heart for her family.

She is survived by her children Raymond and Mary Pike, of Enid, Joan Carpenter, of Enid, Bruce and Kathy Pike, of Bentonville, Arkansas and Jerry and Teresa Pike, of Enid; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one great grandson, Logan Pike, two sisters and one brother.
