Juanita was a lifetime member of the Christian Church. While in Lamont, she was active in Sunday School and CWF. After moving to Enid, the family joined Central Christian Church, where Juanita attended the Sooner class, served as a deacon, held offices and worked on committees for many years. Juanita was fortunate to have a great friend, Matt Ging. They enjoyed doing everything together.
