Oliver Berchard Lemon

Oliver Berchard Lemon, 76 of Coupeville, Washington died Tuesday in an Everett, Washington hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Indiana he came to Cleo Springs with his parents as a boy. He served for a number of years with the coast artillery in the state of Washington. After retiring from the service he purchased a farm near the fort where he was stationed and had made his home there since that time.
He was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. W. E. Powell, Enid; Mrs. Evelyn McCormick and Mrs. Willard Schwartz, both of Manhattan, Kansas; and Mrs. Joe Gibson, Clinton; three brothers, W. A. Lemon, Clinton; Frank C. Lemon, Manhattan, Kansas; and John Lemon, Monrovia, California; and many nieces and nephews.
The body will be returned to Enid for services and burial under the direction of the Brown funeral home.
