Willie Francis " Champ" Myles was born September 7, 1955 in Enid, Oklahoma to Willie & Dorine Myles. He graduated from Enid High School in 1973 and spent the next two decades living in Denver Colorado. Champ was fiercely independent and loved spending time with his late Uncle Johnny B. Lawrence. He had a great sense of humor and his love for life made him a joy to be around.

Champ survived by his two daughters, Tara ( Chris) Johnson and Nicole ( Jermaine) Wright. He has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He has two living Aunts, Rev. Bonnell Fields, Gladys Lawrence and two Uncles Sonny Lawrence and Willie Hill.

He also was survived by sisters Wanda (Wendell) Lynch, Charlotte Myles-Nixon, Sharon Myles, Diana ( Leon) Myles-Henderson and brother Quraysh Ali Myles Lansana. He has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Champ was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Dorine Myles and one brother William ( Donnie) Myles.

Arrangements are with Anderson Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
