Funeral services for Wade E. Morris, age 86, of Enid, will be at 10 AM Friday at the Ladusau – Evans Chapel with Rev. Marvin Goodpasture officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

He was born December 28, 1910 in Waukomis, Oklahoma to Thomas and Margaret Dunlap Morris and died at his home early Tuesday morning, April 8, 1997.

He was raised in the Enid community, attending school in Garber and Enid. On March 19, 1944 he married Fern Kerr in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. He worked for Shell oil Company as a welder, later traveling all over the country for Chicago Bridge and Iron, retiring after several years. He was a member of the union.

Survivors include his wife Fern, of the home; and Ethmer Morris of Enid; and several cousins.
