James W. (Jack) Morgan, 66, 1809 Pawnee Dr., died Saturday afternoon in an Enid hospital following an apparent heart attack.

Service will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Central Christian Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Morgan was born and reared in Guthrie and graduated from Guthrie high school. He moved to Enid where he worked for the Weldon, then Humphrey, then Garriott and now the Northcutt Chevrolet Agency as a business manager.

He married the former Opal M. Ball on October 8, 1938 in Enid. He was a member of the Central Christian Church, a veteran of World War I I, was a 32nd degree Mason in Garfield Lodge No. 501 AF & AM and was a Shriner in the Akdar Temple.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Opal, of the home; a son, E5 Jimmie R. Morgan, stationed at Ft. Sill; a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Karen) Grimm of Enid; two sisters, Mrs. P. H. (Edna) Cunningham, Tahlequah and Mrs. Arthur (Vontel) Lamb of Mound City, Kansas; and six grandchildren.
