OBITUARY
MORGAN, Harold Dixon, 85, OKC, died Sunday, September 1, 1095 at Deaconess Hospital after a brief illness. He was born September 27, 1899 in Leon, IA, the son of Eva & Dixon Morgan. He moved to Oklahoma as a child, attended school in Enid, graduated from Enid High School & attended Oklahoma State University. Veteran of WWI. Married Florence Irene Smith of Enid in 1920. Mrs. Morgan died in 1981. Mr. Morgan was employed as an auditor & accountant with Continental Oil Co for approximately 40 yrs, retiring in 1965. The Morgans lived in several Kansas communitites, resided in Ponca City for 16 years & moved to OKC in 1951 & were members of Crown Heights Christian Church. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Grant Harris of Enid; 2 sons, Tod W. Morgan of OKC, Don G . Morgan of Boulder, Co & 2 grandchildren. Funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Guardian Midtown Funeral Home, 1133 N Robinson, OKC. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid, OK. at 2:30pm.
