September 18, 1934 - December 18, 2019

A Celebration of Life Service for Lorraine Mitchell age 85 of Enid will be 2:30 pm Saturday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Timothy Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Lorraine was born September 18, 1934 in Manchester, OK to Raymond and Lucille Harris Cox and passed away December 18, 2019 at Greenbrier Nursing Home. She was raised in the Manchester community. She married Raymond R. Mitchell on February 27, 1954 in Enid and he passed away June 10, 1998. She was attending Willow View United Methodist Church. Lorraine worked as a physical therapy tech for Integris Bass Baptist Hospital and retired in 2001. She enjoyed going dancing and being around her grandchildren.

Lorraine is survived by her children; Rex Mitchell and wife Lisa, Paula Frickenschmidt and husband Alan, and Phyllis Kay Kunce and husband Ralph, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and a special friend Rex Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Luther Charles, and sister Wanda.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
