James William Miller, 77, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, formerly of Enid, OK, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his home.

He was born October 23, 1934 at Widen, WV to Samuel and Rosalie Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Enid with Pastor Savoy Grimmer officiating. Full military rites will be rendered by the Vance Air Force Base Honor Guard. Arrangements by Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview.

Mr. Miller proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willis Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Treva Miller; one son, Rod (Connie) Miller, one daughter, Marla Simpson; one brother, Chester Miller; one sister, Mary (Joe) Hayes; three grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Cindy Simpson, Levi Miller; and extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Capitol City Church of the Nazarene, Montgomery, AL with Pierce Funeral Home, P.O. Box 15, Fairview, OK 73737 serving as custodian.

Treva Jean (Goodhue) Miller, 89, resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Prattville Memorial Chapel with Pastor Harris Cook officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at Prattville Memorial from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, James William Miller; and a sister, Edna Lee Goodhue Grimmer. She is survived by her daughter, Marla Cleckler (Tracy); her son, Rod Miller (Connie); three grandchildren, Kyle Miller, Cindy Chambless (Michael), Levi Miller; one great-grandchild, Caroline Hope Chambless; two sisters, Lois Rae Smith (Bill), Della Mae Hill (Richard); and extended family and friends.

Committal services are planned for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Enid, OK with Reverend Bruce Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Elmore County Humane Society or to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
