The mass of Christian Burial for Dwaine Arnold Miller, age 77, will be at noon Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin Ratterman and Rev. Michael Whellehan officiating. The Recitation of the Rosary will be 7 p.m. today at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home with Tony Crispo, deacon, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. He was born to Edward Frances and Velvia Nadean (Chodrick) Miller on Dec. 9, 1930, in Enid and died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at his home in Enid.

Dwaine grew up in Enid. On Nov. 4, 1953, he married Mary C. Oberst at St. Francis Catholic Church in Enid. He worked as a parts man for various automotive supply stores, including Central Automotive Motor Supply, Owens Supply and Marlatt Auto Supply. Dwaine was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He enjoyed his grandkids' ballgames, dog shows and was an avid race fan.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; three sons, Ronald Miller and wife, Cathy of Medford, Steven Miller of Enid, and Randy Miller of Wakita; son-in-law, Joe Booze of Enid; daughter-in-law, Carma Miller of Enid; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Verdina Gallas of Moore, Wilma Ammons and Joe of Little Rock, Ark., Irene Woodford of Girard, Ohio, and Joy Stark and Ed of Midland, Texas.

Dwaine was preceded in death by his mother, father, daughter Lisa Booze, brother Jack Miller and sister Rose Hensler.

ENID, Okla. — Mass of Christian burial for Mary C. Miller, 80, of Enid, Okla., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with the Rev. Rajesh Mankena officiating. Recitation of the Rosary is 5 p.m. today, April 1, 2014, at Anderson-Burris Chapel, with Deacon Tony Crispo presiding. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Mary was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Okeene, Okla., to Henry Charles and Edna Beatrice Weber Oberst and died on Sunday, March 30, 2014, in Enid.

She grew up in Okeene, Okla., and graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School in Okeene.

On Nov. 4, 1953, she married Dwaine Miller at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid.

Mary worked at Emerson Junior High Cafeteria for 17 years and the Sage Room for 10 years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Mary enjoyed her grandkids' ballgames, dog shows, going to casinos, playing bingo and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Lisa Booze; son, Steven Miller; infant sister, Jeanette; and sister, Betty Biggs.

Mary is survived by two sons, Ronald Miller and wife Catherine of Medford, and Randy Miller of Enid; son-in-law, Joe Booze of Enid; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister and her husband, Charlotte and Lavern Stettinisch of Enid; brother and his wife, LeRoy and Kathy Oberst of Okeene; four sisters-in-law, Wilma Ammos, Joy Stark, Irene Woodford and Phyllis Miller; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made to St Jude's.
