Arthur F. METZLER, 83, died Tuesday, Services will be 2 p,m, Friday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Dr. Ken Johnson of North Garland Road Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be the Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born March 14, 1903 in Wasika , Minn. to Fred and Ollie Metzler and had lived in Lahoma most of his life. In 1927 he married Clara Walton. He was employed by Farmers Elevator in Lahoma and the Farmers Co-op of Drummond for a number of years, retiring in 1962. He had lived at East View Nursing Center the past 2 1/2 years.

Survivors include his wife Clara; a son Donald; a daughter, Mrs. E. S. (Colleen) Pierce, Bethany; a sister, Mrs. Glen (Sylvia) Ard, Eureka Springs, Ark. and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by ond daughter, and two sisters.
