Catholic funeral service for Eddie Mendez, 5 of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Irwin as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Eddie was born July 31, 2012 in Enid to Sayer Krannawitter and Roberto Mendez, Jr., and passed away Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018 in Enid.

In addition to his parents, Sayer Ixcoy and stepfather Erick Ixcoy, Eddie is survived by his brother, Jose Mendez, two sisters, Maggie and Esperanza, maternal grandparents, Bill Krannawitter of Enid, and Mechele and Donal Woodward of Texas, and paternal grandmother, Silvia Beck of Guatamela.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Eddie, great uncles, Dallas Harris and Mark Krannawitter, and his great aunt, Jane McBride.
