January 20, 1972 - August 31, 2018

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Paula Dawn Melvin, 46, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 6, 2018 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carol Coulter officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She born on January 20, 1972 to Paul Dwight Spoonemore and Sharon Marie Gannon in Enid and passed from this life on August 31, 2018 in Oklahoma City.

She was raised and educated in Enid attending Monroe, Hoover and Hayes Elementary schools, Longfellow Junior High, and Chisholm High School where she was in the School Choir for three years. She graduated from Chisholm High School in 1990. On September 10, 1997 she married Earl Melvin. In December of 1998 her daughter was born. She moved to New Mexico in 2000. She had her second daughter in March of 2001. In 2006 she moved back to Enid. She worked at Greenbrier Nursing Home and Sonic. She was the nursery director at University Place Christian Church from 1999-2000. She enjoyed her crafts, her family, her friends, Beanie Babies and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

She is survived by her husband Earl, daughters; Melissa and Jennifer, son; Robert Melvin, brothers; Scott Gannon and wife Cheri, and Dusty Spoonemore, sister; Robin Sutton and husband Randy, and her nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents
