September 21, 1919 - January 30, 2019

A celebration of life for Grace "Bertie" Melvin will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral home.

Grace "Bertie" Elberta (McInturff) Melvin was born on September 21, 1919, in Enid, OK, to Clyde and Florence McInturff and passed away on January 30, 2019.

She attended Enid Public Schools. On June 20, 1937, she married Kelso Melvin, and together they had four sons. Grace was a housewife and enjoyed gardening, crafting, and bingo.

She is survived by her four sons, Larry Melvin, Garry Melvin and wife Marie, Monty Melvin and wife Dana, Kelly Melvin; her six grandchildren, Jackie, Becky, Cory, Tamara, Ira, Ashley; eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Kelso Melvin; her parents, Clyde and Florence McInturff; three sisters; one brother.

Memorials can be made to The Alzheimer Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as the custodian. Condolences may be made and services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
