Funeral services for Glenn R. McNickle, 46, of 3106 Redbird, will be at 11 AM Monday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert DeMoss and Phil Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

McNickle was killed Friday in a helicopter crash near Norman.

Born April 12, 1935 at Helena, McNickle was the son of Chester and Gladys McNickle. He grew up and attended school in Helena and Cleo Springs. He graduated from Helena High School. McNickle graduated from Oklahoma State University after attending Northern Oklahoma Junior College.

McNickle was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, the American Petroleum Institute, Society of Professional Engineers, and the Association of Independent Oil Producers. He had been employed by the L. O. Ward Company for the past three years. He previously worked for Samedan for 11 years in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Louisiana.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona, of the home; one daughter, Jeanne, of the home; his mother, Gladys, Enid; three brothers, Wayne McNickle, Cherryville, Kansas, Gerald McNickle, Aline; and Bernie McNickle, Tulsa; and two sisters, Wilma Russel, Enid, and Virginia Unruh, Ponca City.
