The Graveside Service for Mrs. Mary Margaret McMillen, 91, of Enid will be Thursday, February 4,2016 at 10:00 A.M. in Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Andrew Long of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

She was born to William W. and Loleta Woodard Ellis on September 19,1924 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed from this life on Friday January 29, 2016 at Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation and Care in Clearwater, Florida after a long illness. On March 7,1944 she married John B. McMillen in Enid, Oklahoma. P.E.O. was an important part of her life.

She enjoyed playing golf, cards and most of all spending time with her family. She was the past President of the Mental Health Association in Oklahoma, the Enid YWCA, Garfield Republican Women, PEO Chapter AQ in Enid and Chapter Q in Tampa, Florida. Mary Margaret was an active volunteer for many organizations throughout her lifetime including the Jr. Welfare League and St. Mary's Women's Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Enid High School.

She is proceeded in death by both of her parents and husband, John McMillen.

She is survived by her children, daughter, Rene' McMillen Johnson (husband John Johnson) of Dunedin, Florida, son, Curtis McMillen (husband Trevor Slom) of Chicago, Illinois, brother William Richard Ellis (spouse Mary Ellis) of Palm Springs California, four grandchildren Zane Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Tane Rickey, and Sarah Johnson, five great grandchildren, and nephews Richard and Kevin Ellis.

Memorials may be made in her name to the YWCA of Enid with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
